News, Squash Ireland - General | 02.07.2026

Squash Ireland has confirmed its membership fees for the 2026/27 season, alongside an enhanced package of benefits for members. Membership fees have remained unchanged since before Covid, possibly as far back as 2016. Over this period, the cost of delivering and developing the sport has increased significantly, including areas such as insurance, travel, venue hire, staffing, ICT, administration and event delivery. At the same time, Squash Ireland has continued to professionalise and expand its work across participation, club support, coach development, safeguarding, technology, performance pathways and national programmes.

For the 2026/27 season, membership fees will be:

  • Competitive Membership – €40
  • Social Membership – €25
  • Student Membership – €25
  • Junior Membership – €10

While fees have changed, so too have the benefits. Squash Ireland remains committed to improving the value of membership while continuing to grow participation in the sport.

Member Benefits

All members will have access to:

  • Personal accident and third-party insurance cover
  • Access to club and social tournaments and programmes
  • SquashLevels Enhanced Package
  • On The ‘T’ Squash Ireland newsletter
  • Squash Zone Discounts Portal, standard version

Competitive, Student and Junior members will also receive:

  • Access to National and Provincial tournaments
  • Access to Provincial and Regional leagues

Plus Membership Add-On

For the 2026/27 season, Squash Ireland is also introducing an optional Plus Membership add-on. For an additional €55, members can upgrade and receive:

  • SquashTV Annual Pass, worth €104.99
  • SquashLevels Premium Account, worth €52
  • Squash Player Magazine digital subscription, worth €35.95
  • Squash Zone Discounts Portal, premium version

This represents strong additional value for members who want access to premium squash content, insights and discounts throughout the season.

Supporting the Growth of Squash

Membership fees play an important role in supporting the continued development of squash across Ireland. These fees help Squash Ireland invest in:

  • New Squash Activation Officers to introduce more young people to the sport and support clubs
  • Coaching, coach development, safeguarding and governance
  • Technology improvements, including improved systems, rankings, player insights and club support
  • Junior performance pathways and the high-performance programme

Club Affiliation

The club sanctioning fee remains unchanged for the 2026/27 season.

We are also delighted to announce that we are introducing the new My Squash Ireland membership and club management system, powered by JustGo. Affiliated clubs will have access to this new system as part of their affiliation, giving them a modern platform to help manage memberships, communications, payments, member information and club administration. This is a major step forward in improving the support available to clubs and creating a more connected membership system across Irish squash.

Affiliated clubs will continue to receive a wide range of benefits and supports, including insurance, access to SportyHQ, SquashLevels club rankings, programme and equipment grant support, letters of indemnity, development staff support and access to Community Sports Facility Funding support.

Further information on the full range of club benefits, the My Squash Ireland system, and the onboarding process will be shared with clubs in the coming days. We will begin supporting clubs with setup and onboarding over the coming days and weeks, with more details to follow shortly.

In the meantime, clubs can start exploring the new system and its features here:
