Squash Ireland has received approval from the Department of Sport and the Revenue Commissioners for tax relief on donations to our High Performance Programme.

We are currently fundraising for two major international events: the Junior World Team Championships in Canada at the end of July and the Senior World Team Championships in South Korea in December 2026.

If you have the capacity to make a donation, it would be greatly appreciated and will directly benefit our players by helping to reduce the costs associated with representing Ireland, including flights, accommodation, and other competition expenses.

How does it work?

  1. Let us know whether your donation is intended for the Junior World Team Championships, the Senior World Team Championships,  another element of our High Performance Programme, such as direct player performance grants, performance support services or the Junior Performance Academy.
  2. Email [email protected] and finance@squashireland.ie with the amount you wish to donate. We will then provide you with the bank details to complete the transfer. Note that a minimum donation of €250 is required to avail of tax relief.
  3. Once your donation has been received, Squash Ireland will issue you an official receipt confirming the amount donated.
  4. You can either:
    1. choose to pass the tax relief to Squash Ireland’s approved High Performance Programme by completing the attached SPR1 form and returning it to [email protected].
    1. claim the tax relief yourself by completing a Form 12 (PAYE taxpayers), Form 11 (self-assessed taxpayers), or Form CT1 (companies) as part of your annual tax return; or

Squash Ireland is among the first National Governing Bodies to receive this approval, reflecting the credibility and endorsement of our High Performance Programme.

We would be delighted to meet with you to share more about the progress we have made in recent years, discuss our plans for high performance over the coming years, and explore how you might be able to support the next generation of Irish squash players.

Thank you for your continued support of Squash Ireland and our players.
