Job Opportunity: Social Media Manager (Part-Time)

Squash Ireland is on the hunt for a creative and motivated Social Media Manager to join our team for approximately 10 hours per week. In addition, Squash Ulster has a similar opportunity, with further details below.

We’re looking for someone with a flair for content creation, design, and creative writing to energise our online presence and tell the story of Irish squash across all platforms. If you live and breathe social media, love sport, and know how to create standout content that drives engagement – we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging content across Squash Ireland’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Design graphics, capture video, and write compelling captions and stories.
• Support coverage of national squash events, including travelling where needed to capture real-time content.
• Grow our reach and community engagement through innovative social strategies.
• Work collaboratively with staff, athletes, and clubs to amplify key messages and achievements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and/or digital marketing.
• Strong design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools).
• Excellent copywriting and communication abilities.
• Passion for sport—ideally with knowledge or experience in squash.
• Ability to work independently, flexibly, and creatively within a small, dynamic team.
• Availability to travel to occasional events, including some weekends.

Hours & Remuneration:

• Approximately 10 hours per week (flexible).
• Remote working with travel required for certain events.

Squash Ulster Social Media Account Manager (Part-time)

Location: Remote

Contract: 6-Month. Part-Time/Freelance (6 hours per week)

Salary: £13 Per Hour

Deadline: 01 June 2025

Due to the need to grow our online presence, Squash Ulster is seeking a creative and talented Social Media Account Manager. You’ll help us promote events, showcase our players, and build squash’s presence across Ulster.

Key Responsibilities:

– Manage Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube – Plan & create engaging content (graphics, video, copy) – Promote tournaments, training, and club news – Monitor community messages and engagement – Attend occasional events for live coverage

Ideal Candidate:

– Social media management experience – Strong writing and content creation skills – Experience with Canva, Adobe, Meta tools – Passion for sport (squash a plus!)
